"Surprise" picture

I was cleaning up my computer at work and came across this cute and cuddly little girl being kissed by her new mommy about four years ago.

I had just returned to work after the adoption.

My dear friend Kim decided to throw a "surprise" shower for me, during lunch. Unknown to me, my babysitter and Larry were in on the surprise. After I had dropped my bundle of love off for the day, they turned around and dressed her in a new outfit with shoes and all! Luckily, the sitter did her hair and not Larry. Then, while I quitely ate my lunch in another room, co-workers, Larry and Oksana hid in wait. I walked in after they called me and saw my wonderful surprise. I cried!














She is so tiny here- only about 20 months old!
So sweet and precious!

Nocturnal

As we drove in the dark this morning, Oksana says- Mommy bats sleep during the day. I said yes honey that is correct, they are nocturnal. Do you know what nocturnal means?

Nik- yeah they sleep during the day and come out at night!
So what else is nocturnal I asked....

Owls, foxes, coyotes, ....and then from the backI hear...
Teenagers!
