Where has the time gone? I looked and it is suddenly October 1. Here is a quick update:
On September 12, my five year old turned six. I told her that she was not allowed, that she had to remain a little girl and mommy was not letting her grow up. She refused to listen and told me that I could not do that. She had to grow up! And off she skipped to enjoy the day and play.
All of the kids are having a great season with football:
Vitaly has played quietly for five years. He always has a smile for the coaches, but never quite gets the limelight. Well, his day to shine came a few weeks ago. He made three great tackles and helped stop a touchdown. The team and coaches were so happy for Vitaly, they poured the water bucket on his head! He came home proud, smiling and giddy. Yes, even a child with a major disability can be a star!
Nikolai continues to terrorize the football field as the unsuspecting safety that despite his size can do some brutal damage!
Oksana’s dream of finally getting to be a cheerleader has come true. She patiently waited until she was in Kindergarten to get her chance. She adores it and is a natural.
I have been traveling A LOT! I have traveled to Baltimore-Atlanta-Chicago and Salt Lake City in the past two months. It has been crazy but fun.
I included some pics of Nikolai working out with some UD Flyer football players!
