A weekend trip to Michigan
Over the weekend, the kids and I packed the van and headed to my cousin's house in Michigan. We drove another two hours and picked some of the most delicious and beautiful blueberries I have ever seen. We probably picked close to 17 pounds and spent $22.00!
The kids with their second cousins (and yes that is me on the far left with Oksana)
We then turnd our sights towards the shores of Lake Michigan and to our delight found beautiful white sandy beaches with perfect water and views to savor.
Here are some beach pictures:

I DON'T WANNA LEAVE!!!!

A June recap
June seemed to come and go.
We ended the weekend with an awesome family cookout (which was held at my house with about 35 people and rain but I forgot to take pics) and then the finale at grandpa's sparklers!
More pics to follow soon from July!
So here is the month in pictures (because that is what everyone wants to see anyway).
Aunt Rah Rah got tickets to our local AAA team the Dayton Dragons. We took the boys who had a blast and enjoyed way to many baseball food treats!
The next day we welcomed our cousins for a visit from Germany. Sean and Nikolai bonded instantly and made the kind of memories that childhood only allows. They enjoyed a trip to the local kids museum and then the local amusement park Kings Island. Cousin Erin has grown into a beautiful young lady and had a blast hanging out with the kids and she can read at a fifth grade level too (and she is only eight!).
Here are the kids enjoying a local park fountain. This is Nik and Sean
And now a trip into Grandpa's spooky creek... who knows what lurks below( I do because I have seem them growing up- snakes, crawfish, turtles, leeches and other creepy things) but Vitaly is the first to go in...

Weight Watchers
Since I began in March, I have lost fifteen pounds with Weight Watchers. I used to be a work out fanatic, but I must confess I have not even been walking the dogs like I used too. I am "planning" on getting back on the treadmill as they say, hopefully beginning today.
Anyway, I am still psyched that I have lost fifteen pounds in four months and really did not follow any pre-set plan. What it has done is made me think of choices prior to actually eating. Even when I went to the Dragons game and ate all of the baseball game junk, I still lost 1.8 pounds that week! It works!
My next goal is ten more pounds by the fall. Then I will treat myself to some cute new fall work clothes!
