SPIKE!
Nikolai had done a big goldfish project and we decided it was time for him
to have a pet of his own. He proudly took his Walmart gift card and proceeded to purchase the bowl and food. We then headed to the pet store, where he became the proud owner of his first fish a crown betta.
At least, he did not want a big hairy tarantula!

We've had a couple of goldfish when Ben has done the Pet Lovers Camp in the Summer. The longest lasting one was 3 days!!! We do much better with beta fish, but I'm not telling Ben that!!!!
