So what happens when:
A.. one yells and stomps his foot at mom
B.. one says that another one put the water in the hand soap (lied)
C.. one agrees with the other that someone else lied (another lie)
Answer:
D. All children go to bed before seven o'clock.
and
E. Mom and dad get some quite time alone to reconnect without even paying a babysitter!

Oh, the joys of parenting... We do the early bedtime, as well. I read in People Magazine, when asked about discipline in his home, Brad Pitt responded, "Because I said so' is extremely satisfying." I think that they are an odd family but I totally agree with his statement.
We are so ready for school to start too! Glad you and hubby had some time together! Maybe seven isn't a bad routine after all! LOL!
I had to laugh - we do this too! And there is a slight guilty pleasure in it - hubby and I get to watch a grown-up movie when he goes to bed early! :o)
